Hey Guys,

Picked this up about 14 days ago, all good so far, needs the light bar fixed, and a service, its booked into Viking Motors on 1st December for Oil Change, XWD service, General health Checkup etc.

80k km on the clock
19" Edge Alloys
Hirsch remap (330hp 330nm)

Planning to get a custom exhaust on this at some point, 3" back from the turbo, but have to be careful not the ruin the car, dont want any droning exhaust noise, needs to be subtle...Hirsch system isnt available anymore which is a shame.

Will grab a few more pics when the rain stops, and i can get a coat of wax on there.

Welcome! NG9-5 Aeros in black (and in red) are spectacular.

We have a good fabricator here in this forum who can build you an exhaust which will meet your specified specs - stainless steel 3" diameter and with 200 cell free-flow catalytic converter. The end result can be almost as quiet as your stock system. :thumb:

suprised by the torque figures, 330nm :freak: thats not much to be honest from a 2.8 V6 turbo. Should be at least 400nm

yeah that was lbft :) its 450nm, made a typo. Still in lbft in my head from the UK, and NM because of EU, so always mix them up.

Thanks for the link ill defiantly look into that for the exhaust.

Well that was an expensive day, had the car to viking motors for checkup and service,

Plus side, all the possible expensive problems are not there, XWD system is good, an no issues with timing chains.

On the down side, the exhaust has a hole at the y connector, the gearbox cooling pipe is leaking, needs a new header tank cap, and needs some LED repairing 3rd brake light...so not to bad. New cap tomorrow, will get the cooling pipe ordered and changed asap.

Have written to the company i bought the car from, it had extended warranty for 30 days, so hoping those things will be covered under the warranty.

Gladly not the most expensive problems, as u mentioned, but still expense.
If u have warranty from a company you bought it, then they have to cover it for sure.
What company it was, if not secret?

No not at all, bought the car from Import Auto in Pärnu, huge thumbs up to them tbh, they confirmed today they would fix the problems. They will talk with VM, order the parts, and then ill take the car there. Perfect service from them, so super happy :)

Car has gone back to seller last night for the repairs, not sure when i will get this back, but have a nice volvo to drive around in for a while.

I think the car is cursed, a traffic sign fell on the car on sunday and has to be repaired with insurance..went to hiteh yesterday for the quotation, and also for the roof painting so not to bad. Overall by the end of Jan there should be much left to do. New spark plugs and trans oil change, and then its done.

No worries :)

Got the car back today with the exhaust repaired, really quick turnaround for that, car feels so good not having this horrible noise out the back, just feels smooth and responsive again.

Will need to go back in the new year most likely for the other things to be done as parts didn't arrive yet. The drive to Pärnu overall isnt to bad if you can avoid the people overtaking like maniacs.

Hey Andres, thanks :)

Its not to bad, around 7-8L per 100km on a longer drive, around the city is about 15L per 100.

My average right now is 13.5L per 100km, thats basically 20km commute most days with some heavy traffic.

Changed the Air filter and Saling filter this weekend, no more smells in the cabin now as the old salong filter was pretty disgusting. Air filter wasnt to bad, but was due a change.

Waiting for an offer from Troost now for the Plugs and Trans oil to be changed, will get that booked in start of march to be done.

Quick pic taken last week, need to get some wax on there really the weather really gets in the way of doing it.
