Saab Car Museum festival 2019
The theme for the Saab Car Museum Festival June 7-9 2019 will be Saab Design! The unique familiar shape of the exterior, interior, wheels and the attention to the small details that is the trademark of a Saab!
The Saab Car Museum will be open 10.00-18.00 all three days and will offer it´s exhibition spiced up with Saab related seminars and will be the base for the festival, as always!
Friday June 7 will be the ”get together day” when all the Saab enthusiasts get together and enjoy themselves, creating the international atmosphere. Full activity at the museum with the exhibition, seminars, the Saab Talladega Slottrack etc…..
Saturday June 8 will probably be the most crowded day, when we fill up the Innovatum area around the museum and the concours competition to find the world’s finest Saabs in 12 categories will take place.
Sunday June 9 will be the Saab market day in front of the museum, for many the most important day, trying to find the Saabpart(s) that is missing….
We are also planning some pre festival activities on the Swedish National day June 6. More info will be communicated later.
A more detailed program will be available during the Spring together with our partners Trollhättans Stad, Saab Original/Orio, Trollhättans Bildelslager and NEVS.

The overall theme for the festival has now been set. The theme will be Saab Design and this will reflected in all festival activates
I think this is such a passionate subject to talk about when think about Saab
For those of you who are intending to join us at the festival will be able to experience a number of activities and lectures surrounding Design. These will be very interesting, entertaining and informative for those of us who are curious as to why a Saab is a Saab. From the design of the front light to the form of the seats and the ergonomic placement of the switches and buttons for ease of reach and functionality in the Scandinavian climate. Answers to these and many other Saabish design solutions will be forthcoming during the festival.
Besides the design related activities there will be of course many hundreds of real Saabs to look at and marvel over in both their standard configuration and special or limited versions, which were released over the years. As usual this festival is for everyone who has a feeling for Saab cars.
We from Orio, who as you know are the exclusive distributer of Saab Original parts and services will have prominent positions on the festival site, now that we are located very close to the Saab Museum.
Although the festival is a couple of months away, we are at full steam with our festival planning, booking equipment and personnel to be all set to meet and greet you on the days. Naturally we will have a few exclusive festival products for you to grab as a souvenir and even some Saab Original specials.
We hope you are already looking forward to this occasion to mingle with around 25,000 Saab friends from all around the world in one place.
So once again, welcome to Trollhättan on the weekend starting 7th June.
