Saab 9-3 Viggen, vigge

SAABNINETHOUSAND suggested to post up a few lines what has been made to my car after the AC-mile Estonian visit last fall and instead of filling his thread I decided to make my own.

Seasong ended and and the good and well served GT3071 set-up was lifted out and replaced with the Hx40 set-up.
So out with the old:

and in with the new

After the swap there was some weeks left of summer tyre season and had the change to map it to "base boost", 1.5bar and do some testing as well as pay a visit to dyno.
Idea was to run a 1.5bar run and then increase the boost until fuel runs out (fuelside was walbro in the tank and 750CC injectors, other parts stock), but my WG burned through the dynos tiedown strap and it was the end of it that time. Anyhow 493whp@ revlimiter was achieved.

Used dyno was intertia type and load far less than road 3rd gear, so wakes-up late on the plot...
Winter as we know is quiet times, not much fun to drive on icy roads, but since the car is my daily driver its used for jobs like this one

On-going now the fuel side upgrade and a schematic of the comming system looks like this:

and current status:

mounts in the spare wheel location like this:
