Ja ivometsa tulemus pole ka paha. Porshe 911 Carrera S oma 355 hobusega jäi kaugele seljataha

Saabi mootor (välisel hinnangul). Töömaht suuremaks puuritud. Sisselase tehtud ühisanumaks. Väljalase oli kui harakapesa:D Turbo oli mingi mitsu räme kartul. Hea oli näha, et mootorijuhtimine endiselt Trionic:D

Kast oli küll täiesti stock 250k km läbi sõitnud. Aga mootor "väga" stock ei ole.
Ehk mootor on ehitatud juba kokku, et performiks.
Originaalis oli tegemist tõesti 2,3 turbo mootoriga.
Iga ratas veab and then some!
Selleks aastaks on lõppkiirusvõistlused läbi ja eks näis palju neid järgmine aasta üldse on mõtet korraldada. Tänan kõiki võistlejaid, pealtvaatajaid ja muidugi ka toetajaid, kõik tulemused leiab selle lingi vahendusel.

The 9-5's engine is Saabs 2,3t but it has "over size" pistons so displacement is little over 2,4liters. Certainly not a volvos engine!
-Turbo is Garrett
-Engine management Nira
But all those where told in estonian by Iff, Vmaster, Cyber and other members, if I understood right.
-Gearbox is original Saabs gearbox yearmodel 1998 and driven 250000km, but I changed a new oils when installing it
(ok, modified gearbox broke down in 1000m first run)
-Saab original Direct Ignition casette
We have planned to push it again in Finland, in same kind of event.
If weather is colder and distance is about 100m longer, then it could do few more kmh.
Maybe Tommi will be driver that time and he is 30kg lighter than I am, so it makes +1kmh

It's a bitter pill to swallow for somebody - hard to believe that Saab can compete with Vipers etc...
But this kind of achievement gives a good feeling for us, Saab enthusiasts

It was a nice event again this year to participate in and especially the feeling after the first round when awsome when the only cars with 290+ results where saabs:head:
This event came too early for us to try to push the "grass clipper" also over 300 especially in that head wind which was present during the runs, but the time will surely come when light weight is combined with even higher power and then it will be this
