KSS 2025 – Annual SAAB Gathering
On the last Saturday of May, SAAB cars and their pilots from various cities and towns embark on a journey to the traditional Annual SAAB Gathering – KSS 2025.
Polished and shining SAAB cars travel to the Lithuanian capital – Vilnius. Everyone will gather at the "Savanorių Rimi" shopping center parking lot, where the first KSS meetings took place more than 20 years ago.
During the gathering, there is a car exhibition where most of the SAAB models can be seen: from the early 96 and sporty Sonett to the legendary 900 and 9000, and the latest 9-3 and 9-5. During the event, the hoods of classic SAAB engines are raised, forming a "bonnet wall." Various entertainment and competitions take place, where cars are judged not only on their shine but also on their technical aspects or upgrades. Participants have the opportunity to compete in various events or simply enjoy the company of like-minded enthusiasts.
KSS is not limited to just the car exhibition. After the exhibition, SAAB enthusiasts line up in a motorized column and embark on a journey through Vilnius – the Old Town and other interesting parts of the city. Later, they will take part in an orienteering route in the countryside, where they must reach specified landmarks according to a map. The finish is the arrival at the location for the evening program, where more conversations, discussions about car repairs, restoration, and maintenance await.
The Annual SAAB Gathering is not only a car exhibition but also a living history of the Lithuanian SAAB community.
