Toimumispaik ja programm tunduvad põnevad

NatSaab is a national Saab meeting, intended to bring together people in the Netherlands with a passion for the Saab brand. In 2025, NatSaab will take place on June 28 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the grounds of the Wings of Liberation museum in Best. In a friendly Brabant atmosphere, we offer Saab enthusiasts the opportunity to meet again, or get to know each other (better) and exchange experiences. And to enjoy an attractive, varied day program, for which we have chosen two themes: 15 years of Saab 9-5NG and innovation
To implement the first theme, we try to get as many 9-5NGs as possible to Best, and we put them together in a special place on the premises. And if there are no hurdles, a presentation about the development of this model will be given by someone who has been closely involved in the design process.
To implement the second theme, we first looked for innovative Saab projects that appeal to the imagination. For example, KC Performance will give a presentation about the conversion of a 9-5NG sedan into a station, and J&D van den Bosch will give a presentation about the electrification of Saabs. But we also looked further for unique innovative projects in the automotive sector that have a link with Saab in one way or another. We are very pleased that PAL-V will come to NatSaab with the flying car called "Liberty" and will give a presentation about the development of this model. There will be a few more presentations, but they will remain surprises for a while.
In addition, part of the site is reserved for parts sales, another part where you can find a number of Saab specialists, and there is a location where you can get advice and products for the maintenance of convertible tops. Of course, there is also a catering square with plenty of seating and points of sale for coffee/tea, soft drinks, beer, wine, sausage rolls (we are in North Brabant) and fries, etc. During the day a jazz band will walk around the grounds and play live music. Children can use the museum's playground.
Visitors to NatSaab have free access to the Wings of Liberation museum. The museum's collection includes tracked vehicles, aircraft, dioramas, photographs and weaponry actually used during Operation Market Garden. The occupation, oppression and eventual liberation of the Netherlands are discussed in detail in the various halls. The museum can be visited on your own. Audio tours are also available. It is also possible to participate in one of the 1.5-hour group tours with a guide.
The costs for a ticket are:
For SCN members (13 years and older) € 15,-
For non-SCN members (13 years and older) €20.00
For children from 6 to 12 years: €7.50
Free for children up to 6 years old
Buying tickets for NatSaab is possible from Monday, February 17. If you are an SCN member and you come with a guest who is not an SCN member, you can - if you log in as an SCN member - buy a second ticket for a non-SCN member. If you come with family members living at home, they may be considered SCN members. When purchasing one or more tickets, you will be asked whether you are interested in a guided tour of the museum. This is to determine how much interest there is in this, so that sufficient tours can be planned. On the day itself you must register for a tour. The following applies: first come, first served. So indicating that you are interested does not guarantee that you can participate in a particular tour.
Hotels are available in the area. The city of Eindhoven (240,000 plus inhabitants) is nearby.
