Ajaks teid kihevile, põhjanaabreid tuleb ka..:) Hetkel on üks mees juba kirjas. Ja see mees on väga kurja autoga... Väga-väga kiire..:)

Mina sätin end vaatajaks kindlasti, sest suuri numbreid näeb seal kindlasti.

Regavad end täna vist või nii.
Praegu on küll kirjas juba üks 9-5. Vaat see on selline masin, millest omanik on kaks suve juba rääkinud kuidas ehitab. :head:

The 1000m race i will pass (other stuff keeping me busy that weekend), but AC-mile I will attend for sure with "upgrades" to competate agaist the "local saab level" :drive:

You, finns, still do 1.8 km..;) or sea mile. And I AM sure, there is a difference in top speeds (no matter , that you say, that by that time you probably have reached your top speed and during that last 200 m no big gains). Plus measuring with police radar...

And have you ever heard of security..:) No helmets, several people in the car, people on finish line..:) tsk-tsk...

But sorry to hear, that you cannot come this time, Vigge...

The Joensuu event this year was a standing mile 1608m, First round in event from stand still, second and 3rd up to driver how the wanted to start ;)
Police radar and Racelogic gave the same reusult for several cars which had RL box in them.
In otherwords the cars that "went" fast will also go "fast" even if you measure the speed with photocells.:beer:

The only problem is that you dont see on the video at what point the audi crossed the finnish line and as you can see from the videos majority rip is past the finnish line.
Anyhow here is the racelogic log from the Supra

as you can see from the video he lifts the throttle som tens of meters after the finnish line and from the log you can see accelertaton distance = 1650m :poke:

I recall we had this discussion last year also, but what was the outcome then :facts:

Like said for AC-mile I will come and as well as few other fast saabs from this country.

Yes. Its one mile now in Joensuu Speedparty.. atleast if comparing my results between those competitions. :wise:

I get 272 @ Joensuu speedparty and Kilsi's One mile challence end of May... And car have worked "always" so badly as it works. :o

Kuidagi väga vähe osalejaid on ..:( hetkel vaid 19. Aga üks kohalik Saab on ka kirjas. Kolmene diisel 9-5. Ilmaprognoos ei ole ju sugugi väga kole...

Pilves selgimistega ilm. Mitmel pool sajab hoovihma, kohati on äikest. Puhub edelatuul 5-12 m/s. Sooja on 17..22°C.

Hi there,

Previously I have visited Estonian speed events with my 9000. (Actually in AC mile 2008 my wife drove the car)

This time I try to arrive on site with 9-5. It has some technical difficulties at the moment, but I try to get it ready for weekend.
Hook is also helping a lot with this issue, because he wants to get company to Estonian trip ;)

In 1000m race a start means more than in mile and 9-5 is quite heavy fwd, but if there is no technical problems, I believe it wont be slowest car in c-class :cool:

We have worked (with little panic) now almost two night with 9-5's engine bay and we hope to get in ready in this night. (daily work disturb our hobby littlebit! :angry: )

If we get it to one piece now "enough early", we try ordered tickets to ferry asap. When (hopeso!) we have tickets, then we can confirm our arriving and give more exsact details of shedule.

Our plan (as usual) come in friday night, be early saturday in competion place.. and leave from estonia sunday just after middle day.
