Hi there.
It was nice to see some Estonian Saabists again

And thanks to all who helped with technical issues at airfield and later in Tallinn with place to sleep!!!
Too bad that I couldn't give a good result in Tartu because of broken gearbox. But at least Heikki got himself in top ten.
Here is incar video from start that didn't go as planned.
http://www.stcf.net/upload/speedest_bre ... d_gear.wmv 3rd gear was critical in importance at so short distance. 3rd was ment to be driven between 130-210kmh and doing most of it in 4th gear and low boost felt like driving in slowmotion mode. And to top of all, it was useless to continue because they couldn't get any result of that pull
Boostlevels were set to so gentle to gearbox as possible and tried keep torque under 700Nm in all rpm and thats why it reached "full boost" at 6500rpm (last two seconds before finnish) We have been speculating is it our "strengten methods" or limited slip differentials that is breaking the gears in 3rd. (this was 3. saab in our small club that did it in this summer)
Hope that the day will come when 9-5 will show a clean run in these races, we are not giving in
